| Dave Barrett is an independent freelance photographer based in Wicklow. His images are used weekly by several local publications and have featured regularly in the national media including front pages of both the Irish Independent and Irish Times. Dave is currently Wicklow GAA's Official Photographer and is also accredited by Croke Park. He is regularly commissioned to cover matches and events and his images have been used in everything from a poster campaign and front cover programme image for an All-Ireland football tournament to a Junior A Championship DVD cover. In 2009 he was assigned to work on a special book of photos to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the GAA in Wicklow. The acclaimed 320 page professionally designed hardback book '125 And Counting - A Photo Journey of Wicklow GAA in 2009' included over 650 quality colour images and was published in February 2010. |
